Assalamu Alaikum
Sheikh Budair is an Imam and Khateeb in Masjid e Nabwi (Madeenah Munawwarah) and he used to be an Imam in Masjid Al Haram (Makkah Mukarramah), but now he isn't. He is one of my favorite reciters, and he lead Taraweeh prayers in 1426/2005 and 1427/2006. Ever since then he's been leading in Madeenah. This is Surah Rahman (55) by him (obviously!), and it's a very nice recording (embedded from YouTube). I wish he always reads like this. Salaam.

Salam,
Yeah Shaykh Budayr is a wonderful recitor.
My mom's favourite in Madinah and you know what?
Alhamdulillah through the FADHAL of ALLAH TA'ALA we were blessed to host this Shaykh when HE was in OUR country almost two months ago!
I am still a bit stunned...
u know I haven't yet been to the Haramayn Shareefayn but Allah brought Shaykh Salah to our home for a meal.
May ALLAH invite my family and myself soon, to the Haramayn to HIS house and to visit HIS beloved Nabi SALLALLAHU ALYHI WASALLAM, AMEEN.
Falillahil Hamd Walakashukr Daaiman Abadan....................
Assalamu alaikum
You said "when HE was in OUR country". So, I was a bit curious, what is your country, ie where are you from?
Walaykum Salam,
Yeah I thought you would be...
I'm from South Africa and you?
Are you in America?
Massalamah
Salaam
I was born in Pakistan, but I'm currently living in the USA. I know a South African guy he used to be my neighbor when I was living in Saudi Arabia. Ismaeel (the author of
ismaeelmalik.blogspot.com
) was my next-door neighbor.

Ismaeel is a Pakistani by culture, born in America, but living in Saudi Arabia. He was friends with that South African guy, too. If you want to know about it, just e-mail him/comment and ask about Brother Muhsin, the guy in Mishar from South Africa.
Salaam
